Because I have German ancestry and had family in Germany during the time Hitler was in power, my whole life I was told of the horrors of the holocaust and how important it is to remember what happened so that we never allow it to happen again. After studying WWII and the Holocaust in school for several years, I think it would be interesting to visit and see where some of the most horrendous acts in human history took place.
